Yarns in this section are part of my two month trial of the ‘pay-what-you-can’ method of pricing. This comes after a discussion on social media about the pricing of indie products, and the value people place on them. It also reflects the growing awareness within the fibre community, that some people are excluded and marginalised because of social inequalities including (among many others) low income. The lower price is for this group of the community. If enough people are able to pay the higher prices, this means more people on a lower income and reduced budget can access indie yarns at a price point that is affordable for them.
Please reflect on your circumstances and select the price you can afford to pay from the drop down menu.
75% superwash merino 25% nylon,
225m per 100g skein,
4mm needles/hook recommended
All yarns are hand dyed by Verity in our smoke free, pet friendly home in Nottingham, England using professional dyes.
Skeins are hand dyed in batches, and some small differences may occur between them.
We recommend purchasing enough yarn to complete your project as future batches may not match.
To avoid any differences being noticeable in your projects, you should alternate between balls every couple of rows.
All items made with our yarns should be hand washed in cold water and dried flat. You may experience a small amount of colour bleeding on the first wash – this is normal.
Every attempt is made to ensure colours are displayed accurately in our photographs but subtle differences can occur between screens.
